Designed for Premium Design Works. Wired Gadgets was a gaming and electronics depot using the Amazon Webstore application. They wanted a slick and modern feel to their identity that could easily introduce them as an electronics company. Color scheme was important also, as they wanted something catchy and flashy as to appeal to the coveted 18-34 markets (and their direct audience).

North West Home Detailers, Inc. Logo

North West Home Detailers, Inc. was an existing high-end remodeling and new construction company. It had an existing logo, but was designed using clip art and the same clipart was beginning to show up everywhere. They needed a new logo to set them apart. Designed with a rich, forest green and subtle grey elements, the new logo exudes the northwest region and also has a level of class that appeals to their clientele.

Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union

PSE Credit Union was expanding its scope and realised it former name no longer fit the new scope Following a change to Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union, they needed a new identity and brand for all its marketing materials. The requested an iconic logo that would distinctly brand them as a northwest company. Icons comprised of simple two color trees, mountains and waves were decided upon as emblematic of the area. Colors were chosen to be bright, crisp versions of earth tones, as well as being similar to the local sports teams to further strengthen the association.

Capture Press Logo

Capture Press intends to be a renegade publishing company for a new age. Built off a free content sharing platform via a blog and print-on-demand services, where 100% of the proceeds go to the writers. We designed the name [Capture Press], concept [publishing like a game of parkour tag] and tag lines [Capture...Imagination; Capture...excitement] to reflect that new, renegade style. The logo is crafted around a keyhole from handcuffs, having been captured.

Raining Pixels Logo

Designed with David Andrus at Raining Pixels. Raining Pixels is a Seattle design partnership founded in 2005. The name was selected to reflect location: Rain = Seattle and occupation Pixels = digital design. A simple Helvetica Neue type treatment, with the “.” of the “i” replaced with raindrops. Given a two-tone color scheme of blue and grey for neutrality.

Tripoli Olive Oil Logo

Tripoli is an artisan olive oil made of a three-blend olive oil in small batches and distributed at farmer’s markets. We designed the name to reflect the three oil blend, olives and the Mediterranean which is a common association for olive oil. Triple + olives = Tripoli. Typography was selected to be slim (to denote health) and olive-like in color. Lastly, a simple and non-distracting art element (vaguely olive like) was inserted into the empty space of the “o.”

Virtu Salon Logo

Designed as Raining Pixels.Virtu Salon had never had a web presence, and so, prior to creating that, we decided upon a consistent identity from which o base the rest of the materials. The serif v inside a shield was used to reference the definition of virtu which roughly means “beauty” and “antiquity.” A vibrant, warm orange was selected to convey the same attitude present in the salon itself. The subtracted circles were added for the characteristic of radiance.

Lyssa Logo

Brand for Lyssa a forthcoming iPhone game about a cat (Lyssa; the Greek goddess of madness) who is trying to defend her apartment from an invading army of rats. Her weapon? Cakes. The brand was chosen to reflect the game’s manic concept and attitude, as well as its cute personality and violent gameplay. We used pinks and blacks, to achieve this with color. Originally, the logo was much more manic and bubbly, but was slicked down for cleanliness and appearance on iPhone screens. Accompanied by icons and matching interface assets.

Integrated Financial Technologies, Inc. Logo

Designed for Premium Design Works. Premium Design Works. Logo design for Integrated Financial Technologies, a Financial and Tax Services company for small businesses. A loose interpretation of the “IFT” using a strong, serif font to denote strength, professionalism and a strong history. To maintain vertical balance with the name of the company, the “f” was duplicated, cross stroke removed, rotated and used as a descender. A simple sans-serif family (book and strong) were used to visually break up the lengthy name without competing with other elements.
